Through her practice, she offers a variety of assessments, exercises and at-home functional medicine lab testing if that is of interest to help you create your wellness vision, uncover roadblocks, identify imbalances and areas where your body may need support. Ali has worked with all types of clients - from brides preparing for their big day, marathoners, folks healing from injury or chronic pain, to pre/postnatal women juggling the demands of motherhood, work and family. Her private sessions are well known for being energetic, innovative, compassionate, yet tough and disciplined. Clients aappreciate her extensive knowledge of and love for movement and functional health.

Being a mom of 2 and an 8x marathoner herself, she understands very well the stress the body undergoes and how challenging it can be to make time to focus on you and your health. Her goal is to help clients find a sustainable program and movement practice that meets their body’s needs and most importantly is realistic and attainable. Ali has been working in the health and fitness industry for over 18 years now. She lives with her husband, 2 dogs and 2 babes (Genevieve and Harrison) in Reading, MA.

"My philosophy is simple. When it comes to your health, there is an answer and a way and deep down, you are the one who knows best. I am here to help you develop the confidence in your ability to trust yourself when it comes to your health and to build sustainable change in a manageable way using the resources you already have at your disposal. 

After years of navigating the ups and downs of health, fitness, and motherhood, I realized that true wellness isn’t about perfection – it’s about embracing the whole you. It’s about learning to listen to your body, connecting with your true self, and letting go of the pressures to fit into a mold that doesn’t quite serve you. I call it being “unfiltered.” I help clients peel back the layers, find the root cause to their issues and address it head on. To really transform your health, it’s helpful to be flexible in your approach, your perspective and practice patience for the process.

It’s an ever evolving, multifaceted, individualized journey. Gone are the days of a quick fix, blanket approach for all. Our lives are in constant flux, never more so than today. We are constantly evolving as human beings & therefore our goals, needs, wants, & priorities change too. As a busy mom of two, I understand the challenges that come with balancing life, family, work, and self-care. I know what it’s like to feel pulled in a hundred different directions and still yearn for the energy, strength, and clarity to show up as your best self when it matters most. That’s why I’ve dedicated my life to helping women (and men) like you reconnect to the basics: sleep, nutrition, movement, and stress management – all in a way that’s sustainable and customized to your unique needs."

How Ali Can Help with Your Sympoms

The simple fact is, every system in our body is connected, so when something is disconnected or imbalanced, it shows up as symptoms that we then have to deal with. What does a session include?

Unlike most personal trainers who work out with you but don't leave you with a solid plan to follow when you're on your own, at Home Bodies you will always receive assignments to help you stay focused when you're not with the trainer. Every client receives a full workout plan including video of the exercises assigned as well as lifestyle and diet recommendations if desired. 

Each training session includes:

  • 60 minutes of time with your trainer
  • Your exact exercise prescription after we determine it during a full body assessment
  • Your own personal form tips to ensure you get the most out of the moves
  • A YouTube video for each movement so you can watch again how the exercise is done
  • Check ins from the trainer in between visits if desired
  • 24/7 access to ask your trainer questions, with a response guaranteed within 24 hours

Virtual sessions with Ali are $130 when prepaid by the month (for however many or however few sessions you would like) or $145 when sessions are paid for one at at time. They include the 60 minute visit as well as a complete program for you to follow in between sessions, as well as email and text support. In person sessions within 25 miles of Reading MA start at $140 when prepaid by the month (for however many or however few sessions you would like) .
